Our first crew outings of 2016 begins with the LDTC on Long Mountain working with the Lonp Path Trail Crew to relocate a steep and dangerous section of the Long Path. The relo will be about 0.3 mile of new trail. There is much to do including sidehilling, taking out blowdowns, brush removal and of course add a few new steps. We want to complete this relocation and close off the old trail in only 3 weekend outings, that’s only nine days. It is a lot of work but with both crews doing their best, it will get done on time
